To honor those who have aged, a ceremony is done. Friends and parents will gather and congratulate those who have grown, and dragonets may receive a mentor to teach them the ways of being a dragon. Juveniles can ask for a mentor as well. Only wyrms do not need a 'coming of age' ceremony.
Hatchling to Dragonet
Aren't you excited now? Being a hatchling is just B-O-R-I-N-G! Time for a little fun, eh? Learn how to fly and shoot your deadly venom under a chosen mentor, and play with your friends in the vast rainforest open to your talons -- c'mon, what's not to love about being a dragonet now?

Dragonet to Juvenile
Your little mind has grown up -- congratulations! Welcome to the world through the eyes of a juvenile, where everything is suddenly so much easier. You can fly now as if you own the very skies, and your battling skills have improved... for RainWing standards. Plus, your aim is much truer with your venom. Dragons don't have to leap out of your line of fire every time you try to talk!

Juvenile to Young Adult
No more stinky mentor breathing down your neck anymore, right? Good riddance to them! You're a young adult now, with freedom and so much more power. It's a lot to take in, but I'm sure it's all worth it. Your skills are to perfection, so no more charming, accidental failures every few days... I hope.

Time used to be your friend. Now you're really old. But hey, everyone respects you. They think you're a wise elder dragon who loves to tell stories. The little ones will certainly be happy to cling to you even more when there's a story flung into the mix, huh?
You don't need a ceremony, though. We don't need to announce you're old when everyone can already see it, right?
